Enemy ships that try to sink the great ship<\/td>\nFirst Mansions: <\/b>A courtyard surrounding the castle, in which the venomous creatures of sin prowl. <\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
The enemy ships throw exploding books and bombs ant the great ship.\u00a0 The Pope uses all his strength to stay on course toward the two columns (Eucharist and Mary)<\/td>\nSecond Mansions: <\/b>Temptations to the world and the flesh\u00a0 – busy work seems importantFortifying resolve to stay on track<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
When the enemy\u2019s weapons fail they take to hand to hand combat.<\/td>\nThird Mansions:<\/b>Threshold – full surrender to the Divine – or going back to relying on our own reason.<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
A favorable wind from the two columns (Eucharist and Mary) heals the hull of the ship, which continues on its way forward.The Pope is struck down and those around him help him up.<\/td>\nFourth Mansions:<\/b>Decreased self relianceIncreased reliance on GodStriving gives way to grace<\/b>Falling into God’s embrace with trust\u00a0 – Leap of faith<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
The great ship is anchored to the two columns, First to the Eucharist and then to Mary<\/td>\nFifth Mansions<\/b>:<\/b>Union with God – betrothalMysterious spiritual union<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Total disorder breaks out over the whole surface of the sea.\u00a0 Remaining ships scatter\u00a0 sink or scuttle themselves.<\/td>\nSixth Mansions:<\/b>Courtship – Torn between affections from God and outside afflictions<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
The remaining ships make their way to the two columns.\u00a0 A great calm covers the sea.<\/td>\nSeventh Mansions:<\/b>Clarity in prayer, Spiritual marriage<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
